Dr. Kwame Nkrumah as Prime Minister
Ghana celebrates Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah on September 21, 2018 every year. This year's celebration is ongoing. The facts that I have gathered are very interesting and I would like to share it with you now.

To begin, let me tell you briefly who was Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Kwame Nkrumah was born on 21st September, 1909 and died on 27th April, 1972. He was a politician and he is credited as the father of Ghana due to his role which led to the Independence of Ghana in 1957.

He is also known as an astute  advocate of Pan-Africanism, he co - founded the Organisation of African Unity and won the Lenin Peace Prize in 1962. He was overthrew through Coup d'tat in 1966 by  National Liberation Council  under the supervision of international financial institutions. Nkrumah spent the rest of his life in Guinea, where he was awarded a honorary co-president until he died in 1972 at Romania.

The Meaning and the Appellation of his Names

Full Name: Francis Nwia Kofi (Kwame) Nkrumah

He was born a Catholic hence FRANCIS which literally means "French" in Latin. The American and English say, it means "Free"

NWIA  was inherited from the Father. It means "Four"

KOFI is a birthday name of Akan for a baby boy bone on Friday. It has appellation "Kyini/Otuo/Babɔne/Ntsiful which means wanderer/traveller

KWAME is a birthday name for baby boy born on Saturday. It appellations are "Atoapoma/ Ɔteanankannuro/ meaning Combat ready’, snakebite herbalist,

NKRUMAH is a Fante name for ninth male born.

It is believed that Dr. Kwame Nkrumah later changed his name and dropped "Kofi, Nwia and Francis". He inherited Nkrumah from his father, he was not a ninth born as there is no proof to ascertain to this. He was the only son of his mother but his father has other children.

The reason why we can't independently accept Nkrumah as a ninth born as recorded in the Wikipedia is. Nwia also means a fourth bone. So we can't believe that Nwia or Nkrumah was as a result of birth.
