Nine Qualities I see in Rev. Prof. Opoku Onyinah's Ministry
Apostle Prof. Opoku Onyinah is immediate pass chairman of the Church of Pentecost. He is a theologian with a very humble beginning who rose to become a celebrated academician among the Pentecostal of Ghana.
From his testimony written on his behalf during his retirement service held at Gomoa Fetteh in Ghana, I discuss nine qualities from his leadership which you may not have known from him.
1 An Exemplary Leader and Faithful Steward
The definition of leadership as an art of motivating and the ability to inspire others to act towards achieving a common goal aptly describes Apostle Prof Opoku Onyinah who daily lived his leadership values and principles. He always led by example also believed and taught that we are simply steward at Gods resources. For this reason, he took great care at the resources entrusted to him, notably the cooler money and time This benefited the Church immensely as under his tenure the Church consistently recorded orders yearly basis. These surplus funds are always ploughed back to the work of the ministry.
In acknowledgement of the magnitude of the task at hand and recognising that it was impossible for him to by it all by himself he created an enabling environment within which he empowered other people and effectively delegated some tasks to them. Though he was the Chairman of that great Church, he did not see himself superior to member.
