Apostle Eric Nyamekye is a Theologian, a husband and a father of six children was elected chairman of the Church of Pentecost on the Thursday of May 3, 2018 during the 43RD General Council Meetings at the Pentecost Convention Centre.

Early life and Education
Eric Nyamekye was born on 21st October, 1965 to the late Mr. Stephen Kofi Antiedu Nyamekye and Madam Agnes Owusu, both from Asokore in the Ashanti Region. He has his secondary school leaving certificate from Tema Senior Secondary School and further obtained a Certificate in General Agriculture. He is a holder of a diploma in Human Resource Management from the Institute of Commercial Management UK. He also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Applied Theology from the University of Manchester and a Master of Arts decree in Religious Studies from the University of Ghana. Eric is pursuing a doctorate at South African Theologian Seminary in South Africa.
His Conversion and Work Experience
Apostle Nyamekye accepted Christ as his Lord and Personal savior and duly baptized by immersion on 1980. Before he became a minister of the Gospel, he worked with Technology Consultancy Center at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology for three years. He was called and stationed at Daboase as a full time Pastor in the year 1991. He was ordained an Apostle in May 2011 and subsequently elected as an executive member in 2013.
The Apostle has illustrious ministry of 27 years experience. From Daboase, he was transferred to Nsaba and later to South Africa as a Missionary. He returned from South Africa to head East Legon District of the Church in Accra, he has served as District Pastor to PIWC - Atomic and Area Head to Tamali and Koforidua Area respectively.
Family Life
Apostle Nyamekye is married to Mary Nyamekye and they are blessed with six children, Samuel, Stephen, Lucien, Maame Boatemaa, Papa Kyere and Awura Abena.
